Global Day of Prayer 2005 - 2009
In early 2005, the City Wide Prayer Rally team was introduced to the TransAfrica prayer movement that was sweeping the world.   The City Wide team provided leadership in organizing Global Day or Prayer which drew 11,000+ to the Pengrowth Saddledome on Pentecost Sunday in 2005. and 5,200 in 2006.  

The two ministries are separate, but work collaboratively and are mutually supportive.   Five City Wide organizers, including David Peddie, sat on the Steering Committee of GDOP from 2005 through 2009.
